Tasty Tuesday: Banana Cookies

I first made these cookies when I was carb-loading before my first half marathon. I needed something healthy, not too heavy and full of carbs (these guys have 19 g of carbs in them!). I can't remember the exact place that I found the recipe for them...you can Google them and literally find hundreds of them (so I'm sorry if this is a repeat). My husband loves these for breakfast (or a snack while he's working) and E calls them "Nanner cookies." They are 3 ingredients...yep, that's it!

Your ingredient list: chocolate chips, bananas and oatmeal (I would suggest trying nuts too, but I'm highly allergic to nuts so I've never tried it).
Basically you mash the bananas together, stir in the oatmeal and then fold in the chocolate chips.
Put them on a cookie sheet (about a 2 in ball) and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
I sweat that's it! I know it's hard to believe how easy they are...but that's really it!

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas (the browner the better), mashed
1 cup of uncooked quick oatmeal
1/4 cup of chocolate chips (or nuts)

Directions:Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with a cooking spray.
Stir in oatmeal into your mashed banana. Fold in the chocolate chips. Place a 2 in ball (or so) on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes.

Bam! Yummy!

Xo,
